KEN CROMAR – A brief biography – 2013

Ken Cromar has traveled the world as a freelance producer, director and writer for Blue Moon Productions. His production work is diverse and exciting, and has included everything from animated feature films to interactive kiosks, to documentary films and facing down armed Kuwaiti guards.

Ken has free-lanced numerous productions, including:

  • Designed, produced and directed the prestigious interactive touch-screen / spotlight stadium environment Hall of Champions for University of Utah
  • Produced and directed interactive kiosks for other Visitor Centers including Temple Square for the 2002 Winter Olympics
  • Produced material for www.Mormon.org
  • Created Seminary videos
  • Directed “The Hinckley Endowment Scholarship” with President Gordon B. Hinckley.

Ken has directed numerous successful TV-infomercials, including “Little Giant Ladders” and “The MultiMaster” which have generated a record-breaking $320+ million.

He also worked on the animated features “An American Tail” and “Land Before Time” (Spielberg & Lucas).

Ken has been accused of being a creative & conceptualizing genius. Not being one to argue, he prefers to let his work speak for itself. His numerous screenplay credits, include:

  • “Story By” credit on “All Dogs Go To Heaven”
  • Co-authored the animated feature “The Princess and the Pea”
  • Wrote a new WWII feature screenplay “At War With God”.
  • Other writing credits include “Faithful Heroes”, “The Art of Teamwork”, “Zambroza!”, and “Networking a Billion Connections” and many others.

Ken Cromar is happily married to Barbara Ann, and the proud father of seven children – one in college and another serving a mission in Peru. He loves to help in their community, which has included serving as an elected Cedar Hills City Councilman. Ken speaks Spanish & Japanese, and has produced in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and French.
